During the general election they say that primaries are the right time to vote for what you want, but then when primaries actually roll around they tell you that you can't vote for what you want because they are so, so sure that what you want will lose (& they are so, so very trustworthy).
The purpose of a system is what it does, & the purpose of this system is to withhold choice from you while making you feel like you did something.
