Arguably not, I wouldn't suggest my normie friends do it. It's really quick way to get your ISP to drop you, if torrent traffic isn't already banned or restricted by your ISP. People can do nasty things when you leak your home IP address too. Setting up a cloud routing system or VPN network to route incoming traffic would eliminate torrent seeing as a normie friendly option. I suppose you could pay for a hosted seedbox, but where's the decentralization part? Do you still want your name and credit card attached?
