breaking it - when the other side is holding up their end of the deal - is a panicky and desperate move. And if anything the NDP is in a worse place than the Liberals if an election were called tomorrow. There’s some elements of their polling that are marginally better, but lol polling.

And they’re still in debt from the 2021 campaign. Their party volunteers are engaged with provincial elections in BC and Saskatchewan.

So the NDP’s negotiating posture is weak.
