The only remaining institution I personally have some measure of trust in is the State of Oregon. I have no idea what they're able to do or what they're willing to do, but that's where we're at.
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't careening towards petrified. I honestly have no idea how bad things could get, but I am expecting that it's going to get pretty fucking not great.
