🗨️ I had a brief conversation w/the person who supposedly verifies the contacts in Gaza - The process doesn't convince me; it lacks transparency, often people in need are exploited by such offers with additional fees - Anyone who wants to help should donate to verified organizations, as they are currently the only ones who can provide active assistance - Where does cash go via Chuffed anyways? And what does a family do with it w/o bank account on the ground? If users want to boost real people, ok
A general remark: I will not report, mute or block any account asking for help - financial or otherwise - just for asking, as long it seems to be a decent person behind it.
Much to my regret, though, I am not able to help and can hardly do more than here and there boost such requests, if they are not in PM. I am sorry.
