I can't even find the thread I posted this on anymore. I can't really follow the kind 1 vs. 1111 reply stuff. I do chuckle at Gleason asking "How bad would it be if I just started using kind 1111 for kind 1 replies?" back in March, with a software ecosystem that doesn't follow vetted design specifications as a guiding principle. Anyhoo... I posted this image URL in response to something similar on your thread. Normally an image URL works... or it did last year, but now it just shows up as a red X. I'll just post the image directly. (Ron English artwork). Nostr is pretty much a dev playground, from what I can tell. I get the beauty, though, I really do. From my perspective it is the version of Scuttlebutt that gained traction. Did Will actually pull his Damus relay in the end? From what I can tell, quite a bit of Nostr worked better because of that relay. (XKCD image of complexity and underappreciated folks supporting the whole thing inserted here). Again, I am a horrible person to gauge function with, as my social media behavior is pretty erratic.
