UK's GDP grew by 0.6% in Q2 of this year, making a total so far of 1.3%
This does suggest the threat of an actual recession is receding, but this level of growth is hardly the sign of an accelerating economy.
For those who think growth is not the answer, this will be of little concern, for others the rate of growth is anemic at best.
The real Q. for mortgage holders is how the BoE's sado-monetarists characterise it.... and you can bet they'll claim its a problem for inflation!
