There's an old saying that women are like liquid, they'll fit in any vessel. Perhaps an overstatement. The important point is they can and will change to mirror you. They are hardwired on subconscious level to do this. Don't expect them to admit it tho.

You've identified the problem of outcome dependence. That will continue to hurt you. The way to beat it, is to talk to so many women that rejection doesn't phase you. In fact, it should amuse you. And when you truly stop caring what they think, it makes you irresistible to them.
