1. TFG is certain to lose on the immunity claim in the Supreme Court; but
2. Even if TFG goes to prison, there is nothing in the Constitution that prevents a convicted person from becoming President.
And people in prison can control their party, see, e.g., what just happened in Pakistan.
Stated differently, time spent worrying about whether TFG goes to jail is time that would be better spent focusing on November.
