Acting badly for a long time doesn’t make it good. Many of us have been against police harassing and assaulting peaceful people this whole time. I don’t see why a comparison is being drawn to Covid tyranny. The wrongness of one has no relation to the wrongness of the other.
It’s also not clear to me why you think other people’s preferences shouldn’t be forced onto you but that yours should be forced onto them.
