I've been in Bitcoin 12 years now. I've watched the community change and expand dramatically in that time. The past few years have been rather sad as I've watched so many in this community become consumed by the red pill contagion.

So many people in Bitcoin are contrarians or people who refuse to accept the status quo. I get that. I'm one of them. But what I can not accept is the instinct to be contrarian pushing you to lose your values.

I’ve watched “anarchists”, "libertarians" and “voluntarists” become consumed with hate and fall into collectivism. I’ve watched them start to worship dominance and authoritarianism. I’ve watched them adopt the idea that autonomy and agency are gender dependent.

Watching my community lose its values has been nothing short of heart breaking 💔

And through this I've had to learn the very, very important distinction between contrarians and people with real principles.
