I'm totally fine with people who sell their own stuff, I follow a few people who do art and pottery etc and sell their stuff. So them 'advertising' their own stuff is fine. It's good even, let me hype you up!

But it's when it's like tiktok shop kind of stuff that it's not okay. Like I'm not about these cheaply made knock offs that probably come from sweatshops in china.
It's a moral stand point as well as ethical and also, it's not what the fedi is about.
