All right, we can work with language barriers.

One problem suggested itself to me early on. "Permanent" has two denotations. One has to do with reversibility. The other is in opposition to "temporary".

The vast majority of contraception methods are temporary. Hormonal methods like "the pill" and IUDs, or spermicides, only last for a while and then wear off. Tubal ligation and vasectomies are permanent in this context.
