Dunno. What I was told was that it was a leader's name but from an area further inland and there was nothing on the actual coast previously. No idea. I kinda understand the whole name changing thing to a degree but also agree with the guys I spoke to who said maybe changes things over time, but for now everyone uses the collinial names and they could find far more beneficial things to spend the funds on. I just found it confusing when driving around cause I'd not been there in a while. What I did find interesting though is the use. To everyone I spoke to, grahamstown and PE still called that in conversation but many other places, most had switched and it seemed regardless of tribe. I was curious to know whether that actually reflected changes made to names of places that actually didn't have settlements there previously. Was gonna try looking up but got distracted and didn't get round to it
