I 100% agree with that. I really think of myself as listener first, more than anything, which requires that my ideas have a viable path towards significant adoption. I’m happy to rewrite my proposal a dozen times if it means we find something that listeners/hosts/apps will actually adopt.

The drum that I keep beating on is "well-written tags should provide marginal utility even without widespread adoption."
