NO. It’s hundreds of HTS codes usually covered under free trade agreements. It’s catastrophic.
Businesses will show up to Canada Post and other shippers on the 19th and assume things are as normal and their declared goods will cross the border. It’s going to be mass chaos - mark my word.
I expect the articles to come out soon thereafter about angry business owners who cannot afford to ship their products to the U.S.
I wish Canada (as a whole, in many aspects) was more proactive instead of reactive.
This has completely shuttered my shipping of products into the U.S. - cutting my income by up to 70%.
This is serious and needs to be all over the news.
