Hiking Stiletto Park part 7. Photo 1: This little plant is done blooming but that foliage is unmistakably a Jacob's ladder (Polemonium) --cultivated varieties are commonly sold as a garden plant. This is Polemonium californicum, one of our native species. Photo 2-3: so many plants here I've never seen before. I love the dark foliage on this plant and the unusual blooms. Leafy lousewort (Pedicularis racemosa).
