Would be cool to get some folks together to digitize old books or remotely meet up to feed old history stuff into local LLMs or something. Or meet some urban explorers to check out some stuff. Why waste time with the town's boomer normies. I'd be sticking out like always anyways. Could be a better experience than doing it solo and I'll probably learn something. Less passive and defeatist as well.

Was considering to join the local history club of the town I moved to last year. Was hoping to find some people to dig into old books and local archives with.
Well, I never checked out their blog. It’s completely zogged. Every single post over the last decade is about something something “what Germans did to the Jews”. Not a single post covering any other issue.
Guess I’ll be reading alone then.
