I remember reading now that at one point, they did blame an unnamed assistant of Michael Waltz for adding the journalist. And one of the attendees (called “MAR”) was doubled, and the chat records that “MAR added MAR,” so it makes sense that they opened up the chat on two devices.

Thanks for pointing that out about Signal. I didn’t know it let people do that and I was wondering what “MAR added MAR” meant.
