I gotta go to bed but a full-circle comment first: yesterday saw two ravens snacking upon a squirrel that had had the misfortune to perish on the roadway, then both up in two palm trees doing something that I really thought was essentially flossing their beaks, getting the carrion off the outer beaks by vigorously raking them on the palm leaves. Maybe I should be trying leaves.
