I know a Boomer who is like that. A pure Sadist. I noticed if I tell him anything going wrong in my life or aches & pains he either gets a big grin or literally laughs about it, gets joy out of people's suffering. So now if I ever talk to him, I deprive him of any information like that, and will go as far as to gaslight him and make up FALSE stories of how GREAT everything is. And then he looks miserable. 😎
