I don't wanna _understate_ this at all because I'm not a fan of Newsom, and fuck age consent for software use. If I can figure out how to run it... I'm old enough. It's not like it's a fucking firearm.

All of that to say, the law, as written, requires users to _declare_ their age and to send a 'signal' to any app store. It doesn't require _proof_ of age like a government ID.

So... Not the _worst_ thing ever but absolutely a shit fucking choice for no good reason.
