You are awesome. Thanks so much. That puts me back on much firmer ground with my knowledge base. I can see the paths forward that they can take now, and they're a lot less scary short-term.

I still don't see how Iran chooses to negotiate with Trump, given how he's behaved toward them - tearing up the JCPOA in 2018, and then luring them into diplomatic talks only to bomb them severely two days into his "two week" waiting period.

But I can figure that out from there.
