I'm not arguing that "ass" is a sin. I'm simply saying that removing it is not a big deal if Adam wanted to edit it out. Bad language, that is a relative & subjective thing. What's a swear for one is not for another. But here is the verse that *might* influence a Christian :

Don’t use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them.

Ephesians 4:29

Probably a good principle.
