The reason why the modern day yuckle-head doesn't understand American slavery is because they view it through the lens of "civil rights", a made up term that has no logical weight, it is an airy-fairy concept related to New Age approach to reality.
Slavery was not and is not a "civil rights" issue, whatever the fuck thays supposed to even mean, it doesn't translate into the real world.
