this is why my current work focus is on programming language (and language models) -> OS -> runtimes -> protocol servers -> front ends in that approximate order. the tools let me do a lot of these things, but there is a limit to how fast i can ride the horsie (claude code/app) as well as attending to keeping food in my refrigerator. moxie language is my first - currently bootstrapping it so it compiles itself, and second is iskra, which will eventually subsume the compiler and has already proven that it can transform from every level from source code to binary and back, losslessly
