She probably is not aware how often she does this, because it's not like she gets that much pushback.

We just kind of let it happen, because none of us are assertive like that. When someone starts asserting "I don't want that, I want this," & does not appear to be asking what any of us think, we fold like a cheap suit.

We all go "fine, ok, clearly it's more important to her than it is to me, because I would never insist on something that way."
