I never said that. A small amount of patches, some optional out-of-tree drivers e.g. for GPUs or bcachefs are not the same as Linux not even booting without a huge amount of patches.
Rule Nr. 1 in Linux is "Don't break userland". I guess halium wouldn't be needed if Android wouldn't break that rule, would it?
