The thing is though, with normalisation in place there is no benefit anymore for a super loud master. If you push your compressor to the limits it'll just get turned down a bunch by streaming services, so you achieve no higher loudness at all. It doesn't matter anymore, you can just master to a solid level without overcompressing everything (and therefore get more dynamics in your song).
