I suspect, for most people whose net worth is in the top 10%, they have very few real assets in their own name. Most will be owned by holding companies, which in turn they own. It is rather like bullion: few people stockpile it at home; instead they own paper which says they own gold stored in Fort Knox.
Ultimately it means *they* are mobile, and they can trade/sell their shell company shares if that makes financial sense for their goals.
