"Dude, that movie is almost 50 years old, spoilers are fair game!"
I think otherwise. It's a classic, and I highly recommend watching it, and maybe Donald Sutherland's death makes you want to watch the movie (it also features Veronica Cartwright, Leonard Nimoy, and Jeff Goldblum), and that image is spoiling a very significant twist.
(Also, if you want to watch it, it's a horror thriller, be warned.)
