Before I get started, I wanted to mention the best thing I experienced on my respite trip down to my old stomping ground of London.
You'll be unsurprised that I visited the Black Music exhibition at the V&A East. It was an amazing experience; fully immersive with a curated soundtrack that responds to the items you're looking at.
This exhibition will profoundly change the way music exhibits are curated in the future; highly recommended!
