Wifi is annoying to debug, because the whole notion of interference comes into play (unless you're rural or have no neighbors, I guess).

5Ghz wifi is *somewhat* better about it because it has such weak penetration through mass that cheap walls (it also has a fairly short reach) will practically prevent interference from being a consideration (and will also mean you need an AP a room to have adequate signal).
