i read it, asking someone to make dua for you is fine, i agree, but the shia ask the DEAD, they prostrate to graves making dua to the dead.
even historically it doesnt make sense, the entire reason quraysh was fought is exactly what the shia do today. quraysh believed in allah, they believed that allah was the only god, but they worshipped him through idols believing they would bring them closer.
we have to also make the distinction between tawassul and istighatha
