my church used to have men's fishing get-togethers a few times each summer. one of the pastors' in-laws had a large pond they'd let us use. It was a great memory of mine. place was quite serene. I tried so hard to get my friend group into fishing and arrange a trip somewhere, but for whatever reason they were so indifferent about it, idk why. fishing is amaizing
