Happy Veteran's Day.
For the veterans I knew when I was too young to grasp the magnitude of what they went through. For the veteran women and men I know, and knew, who served in the Vietnam War, returning home traumatized, only to be met with epithets, and objects thrown at them.
To all veterans, I wish you a day of peace.
It would be lovely to live in a world without wars. We aren't there, yet.
