Ala carte, pay per view. Same thing in this context. Look at the NFL. To see any game you want live you need at least 3 subscription services. This isn’t good long term. What they should offer is one price for a given team. Pay up and you’ll get all the games for the team you want to watch. $100 should work. Or get any single game for $15-20. But I shouldn’t have to subscribe to YouTubeTV + the NFL ticket + Amazon + Peacock + who knows what else.
