this here is a picture of the school in the town, you can just see behind and left of it the hill where i suspect that photo comes from
there is a lot of graffiti in bulgaria (and it's fairly widespread across the whole of the balkans) but a lot of the stuff in bulgaria is really clever, and there seems to be a cultural acceptance of its presence, like, that it's a valid form of expression
some of it gets cleaned off but very often the council designates areas that they want it to get put on .... and those places are beautiful to see
