It is quite obvious that violent crimes can be displaced to different areas, not encumbered by these cameras.
There hasnt been an effective crime deterrent alternative offered that I've seen.
I think this topic takes deeper thought than I've seen take place, we need to find an alternative or accept that these things will continue to be experimented with.
Surveillance state be damned.
