I hear you. But that's not what people think of when they read "alternative to flock".

You're asking a bigger question. One that flock doesn't even really address any better than a neighborhood watch does. The data flock gives is extremely cherry-picked and manipulated. Consider the scale of their rollout. If it was really effective at all, you'd be seeing crime dropping throughout all participating jurisdictions. But we don't.. I haven't seen one ounce of data that starts to suggest any kind of efficacy.

So, you see, flock is a farce. It is surveillance masked as crime prevention. It's up there with "for the children".

So there is no viable alternative. It was never about crime.
