I think the greater point is that things like far-uv make a difference versus nothing at all. Combined with improved filtration, it can lower exposure rates for public venues. But nobody cares. There's is no incentive to invest when COVID is over and the mystery summer flu that is leading to increases in POTS and other long term debilitating conditions doesn't really exist. At least not in their minds.
