Monero is already in tail emission. Bitcoin’s block reward is 3.125 per block currently. They’re actually about equal inflation right now after the last halving. Regardless, it is a tiny amount. And we don’t know what happens at the end of Bitcoin’s block reward. It’s an event of potential instability, particularly if Bitcoin doesn’t persist as dominant into perpetuity (which now, thanks to the mismanagement of Core, is certainly in question)
