- I consider myself lucky that FOSS tools like Thunderbird, Libre Office, NextCloud and GIMP work great for my own biz's needs - so that subscriptions to Microsoft and Adobe for office services end up seeming silly. I also a couple years ago switched from Quickbooks to Adminsoft for my invoicing and accounting, when Intuit switched to subscriptions for cloud based service, instead of a one time small fee for local based that I prefer. And that decision has worked out well too.
