GM -- ask people what the best Linux is and you get a million answers lol

For my part, I'm thinking of Fedora with stock GNOME. Not doing anything too intense, daily driver stuff, some light (scientific) simulations, HomeAssistant, maybe run a personal relay, etc.

Just had my daily driver laptop (Chromebook Plus) crap out on me. Pretty disappointed, less than 2 years on it... Sooo now taking the plunge to Desktop Linux! Wish me luck, I hope I can still use my printer 😆🫨
