Below the hill, between it and the cabin, every water course had a lot of erosion. Some that required small detours.
But then we got to the river at the cabin. Where the trail crosses the river it is normally wide and shallow, but it’s not now. Most of the flow no longer runs on the town side, and the flow has cut a deep channel on the cabin side. Too deep to try. We could cross further up, we were thinking about it. But the bank was steep, and probably too steep. So we headed home. 3/3
