I guess what is difficult is the instructions. I saw there were pools that made that claim, but it wasn’t obvious what type of software I needed to merge mine (xmrrig only? or tari merge mining extra software?)

I googled it like 10 times and couldn’t get a tutorial that explained it plainly.

If I use supportxmr and xmr rig, then how do they get my tari address, I put it in the xmrrig config? I got that far but it wasn’t obvious how to structure the tari addy plus xmr addy in the json.

I only worked on it for a couple days but yeah, it cucked me so far. But I really want to figure it out because I don’t want to mine tari and not get it.
