While (as we might have expected) the number of Google searches for 'how to move to Canada' grew by over 1000% after the recent US Presidential election, there is also a growing (but still minority) interest in moving within the US to states more aligned with one's political views (around 1 in 8 movers claim this as a motivation).
So not only is the US becoming polarised online, its population is likely to become more polarised physically!
This does not make for good democracy!
