That depends on what your goals are, and any potential contacts you might want to be closer to. If it's having a 平和っぽい日常 then you're in a decent position because skilled IT workers are in demand and many places have English as a wörk language. There's always going to be some reason to feel like an outsider but as long as you have some manner of social contact locally you ought to be fine. Obviously I'm not one to give opinions on this but I have seen many find happiness abroad so it's not impossible.
That said, it won't be easy, and language is a barrier to overcome for sure. I guess I'm saying it's worth taking your rumination seriously to avoid being stuck in a regret cycle.
