STEM got it's own acronym & didn't just happen to not include the arts & humanities but *because* it specifically doesn't include them. It's the left-brained club.
An example came up today of a parent who said flat out that if the school's #STEM program had included the 'A' their kid would have chosen another school. You can imagine the tone that accompanied this comment.
