The Tangerine Tyrant has decided to punish the Germans for their (lack of) support for the US/Israeli attacks on Iran by (over the next 12 months) removing 5,000 US military personal from Germany and cancelling a Biden-era planned deployment of defensive weapon systems.
While the trop removals may be made up by new arrivals should Trump waver, but the cancelled deployment looks more like one more aspect of the US withdrawal from NATO commitments & involvement.
